Job summary

Orion Innovation is seeking a seasoned Cloud Pre-Sales Solutions Architect with deep AWS expertise to craft transformation strategies, build winning proposals, and support business development initiatives.

You will partner with sales, customers, and delivery teams to design end-to-end cloud solutions, drive migration and modernization, and contribute to pricing and RFP responses. The role targets 8–15 years of cloud-related experience and a Master’s degree.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 8-15 years of experience in cloud consulting, pre-sales, or solution architecture.
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
• Experience leading cloud transformation engagements for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their business objectives and cloud transformation goals.
• Lead discovery workshops and assess infrastructure, applications, databases, and cloud environments.
• Design end-to-end AWS cloud migration, modernization, and managed services solutions.
• Develop migration strategies including rehost, replatform, refactor, retire, and retain approaches.
• Create high-quality solution architectures, proposals, presentations, and pricing models.
• Collaborate with sales teams throughout the opportunity lifecycle, including client meetings, technical discussions, and executive presentations.
• Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs with technically sound and commercially competitive solutions.
• Define transition, transformation, and managed services operating models, including SLAs, governance, support processes, and automation.
• Work closely with delivery teams to ensure seamless handovers from sales to execution.
• Build reusable solution assets, proposal templates, estimation models, and reference architectures.
• Stay current with AWS services, cloud-native technologies, AI-powered operations, security, and industry best practices.
