Job summary

Vertical Relevance is seeking an AWS App Modernization Consultant to join our New York or New Jersey team as a full-time employee. You will lead end-to-end planning, building, and deployment of cloud-based software systems, driving well-constructed, testable code.

This role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and customer-focused delivery as you implement cloud-native solutions, review architectures, and contribute technical content to help customers succeed on their cloud journey.

Qualifications

• Professional experience architecting/operating full stack web and mobile applications built on AWS.
• Core: Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure DevOps/TFS, EC2, Lambda, S3, AWS networking, .NET, IIS, MS SQL Server, Java, Apache Tomcat, SNS, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch.
• Optional: SageMaker, Glue, Firehose, Hashicorp Vault, Dynatrace, Snowflake.
• Experience in software/technology- architecture customer facing experience - Java or C++ or C#.
• You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shape their cloud journey with technical and strategic guidance.
• Consult, plan, design, and implement cloud-native application solutions.
• Review existing architectures and propose cloud-native iterations.
• Code, test, and deploy refinements in customer applications.
• Build and deploy infrastructure and automate operations for customers.
• Develop high-quality technical content to aid customers in cloud adoption.
• Support solution development by conveying customer needs to technology roadmaps.
