Job summary

Amazon is seeking a System Development Engineer II for NW ADC Software Operations (NASO) in Seattle, WA. You will design, automate, and support Linux/Unix systems, develop software and services, and scale tools across AWS networks.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, collaboration across teams, and delivering reliable, secure systems at scale. You will work on network tooling, system deployment, testing, and incident response, contributing to the safety, security, and performance of AWS data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional) required.
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.
