Our client, a top-tier IT consulting company, has partnered with a leading Financial Institution in Dallas to hire anAWS Cloud Infra Engineerfor designing, deploying, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure to support data platforms, trading systems, and time-series databases. Ensures scalable, secure, and cost-optimized environments for data engineering and analytics workloads.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Design and manageAWS cloud infrastructurefor data platforms (KDB, Databricks, and Timescale).
• Implementinfrastructure as code (IaC)using Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Build and managenetworking, VPCs, security groups, IAM policies.
• Configurecompute (EC2, EKS, ECS, and Lambda)andstorage (S3, EBS, EFS)for scalability.
• Enablemonitoring & observabilitywith CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Implementcost management and optimization strategies.
• Ensure compliance withsecurity and regulatory requirements(encryption, logging, IAM).
• Strong expertise inAWS core services(EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Experience withIaC (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Knowledge ofcontainerization and orchestration(Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
• Familiarity withCI/CD pipelinesfor infrastructure deployment.
• Experience incloud security(KMS, encryption, IAM best practices).
• Exposure to supportingdata platforms(Databricks, KDB, or PostgreSQL/Timescale).
• Strong troubleshooting andperformance optimizationskills.
