Job summary

Toyota Financial Services (TFS) is seeking a Cloud Governance Engineer to design and deliver secure, automated AWS governance capabilities across cost management, compliance, controls, and lifecycle management. You will transform cloud standards into practical engineering solutions, trusted data, and actionable reports for engineering and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cloud engineering experience in AWS.
• 2+ years of DevOps or cloud automation experience.
• 1+ year of software development or scripting in Python or Bash.
• Strong AWS fundamentals including IAM and networking.
• Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Git-based source control, CI/CD, and maintainable documentation.
• Experience in FinOps or cloud cost management with data analytics (AWS Athena, SQL, Glue, QuickSight).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate scalable AWS governance solutions using IaC and automation.
• Build and improve cloud cost-management and FinOps capabilities with data analytics.
• Develop data pipelines using AWS Athena, AWS Glue; deliver dashboards with QuickSight.
• Implement and improve cloud policies, controls, and security/compliance automation.
• Contribute to governance patterns (AWS Organizations, SCPs, Config, Control Tower).
• Automate cloud operations and lifecycle activities (remediation, optimization).
• Set engineering standards for Terraform, Python, source control, CI/CD, testing, and docs.
• Provide leadership through hands-on delivery and mentorship.
