Groundswell Corporation is seeking a qualified candidate to design, deploy, and operate scalable AWS-based infrastructure for mission platforms. You will work with Kubernetes, container ecosystems, and infrastructure as code to enable secure, reliable releases across environments.

The role requires strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, AWS networking, and cloud security controls, plus the ability to communicate findings to cross-functional teams. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Software or Cloud Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience deploying scalable AWS systems using EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and container ecosystems, including Docker or OCI images and ingress.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or CodePipeline.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation, focused on repeatable, controlled changes.
• Knowledge of AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers).
• Cloud security controls for IAM, encryption, secrets, logging, monitoring, auditability.
• Ability to diagnose distributed systems from logs/metrics and communicate findings clearly.
• Self-starter, able to work independently and with teams.
• Must obtain/maintain Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and deploy AWS cloud infrastructure and services for mission platforms.
• Build and operate containerized services with Kubernetes and related cloud-native technologies.
• Develop repeatable Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD workflows for consistent environments.
• Integrate data and application services across APIs and data sources while preserving data integrity.
• Apply cloud security practices across identity, networking, encryption, logging, and least-privilege access.
• Instrument services and infrastructure for health, performance, and operational insight; troubleshoot distributed systems.
• Partner with architects, software engineers, data specialists, security teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
• Produce architecture notes, runbooks, deployment guidance, and maintainable documentation.
