Job summary

First Advantage is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure. You will work with DevOps, security, and SRE teams to improve reliability, standardize delivery, and enable self-service for application teams.

The role emphasizes infrastructure as code, automation, and CI/CD, with on-call rotations and a focus on security and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of cloud engineering, DevOps, or SRE experience in AWS environments.
• Hands-on with infrastructure as code and automation tooling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and incident response processes.

Responsibilities

• Support design, implementation, and operation of AWS infrastructure and services.
• Build and improve infrastructure-as-code tooling and best practices.
• Configure AWS networking components and troubleshoot connectivity.
• Automate routine tasks with scripts and reusable modules.
• Monitor platform health, respond to incidents, and participate in on-call rotations.
• Apply security, reliability, cost, and compliance practices to cloud platforms.
• Create runbooks, documentation, and standards for operations.
