Job summary

State of Nevada in Carson City seeks an IT Professional 3 to engineer, enhance, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS and serverless services. You will apply the Shared Responsibility Model and Well-Architected Framework to design, test, deploy, and maintain cloud environments, including hybrid solutions.

The role requires programming and infrastructure automation expertise, plus the ability to document processes and adapt to emerging cloud trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/MIS or closely related field with 3 years of professional IT experience incl. operations, systems/network/database, security, and development.
• Experience with programming, infrastructure automation, and cloud engineering across enterprise systems.
• Ability to apply the Well-Architected Framework and design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud environments, including hybrid solutions.

• Conduct analyses and determine end-user requirements through consultation with stakeholders and vendors.
