Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a Cloud Engineer (AWS) to support the development of documentation and the engineering, security, and operational processes for a major federal agency. The role requires a strong grasp of cloud computing SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS fundamentals and the ability to design solutions with security controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years assisting federal government IT environments.
• Experience designing and delivering large-scale cloud solutions.
• Hands-on AWS experience with architectural design.
• Knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions that meet security controls while providing flexibility and scalability.
• Support the development of documentation for engineering, security, and operations.
