Job summary

Dezign Concepts LLC in McLean, VA seeks an AWS Cloud Engineer/Server Administrator with active Top Secret clearance and Polygraph to design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud and on‑premises server environments. US citizenship is required.

Candidates should have hands‑on experience with AWS, C2E, Linux/UNIX/Windows, and enterprise IT solutions, plus the ability to work with multiple teams to interpret, integrate and support complex systems.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Active Top Secret SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• Experience AWS Cloud Engineer / Server Administrator with Windows server familiarity.
• Experience setting up and managing servers in Commercial Cloud Enterprise (C2E).
• Experience with AWS Services and Cloud technologies.
• Experience with diagnosing problems in AWS deployments.
• Ability to coordinate with Sponsor components for interpretation, integration, deployment or operations.
• Experience with server technologies, Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Enterprise IT applications and varied storage and database platforms.
• Ability to work independently and in teams; strong analytical planning and communication skills.

Experience Needed:

• Citizenship: Must Be a US Citizen
• Existing Clearance Required: Active Top Secret SCI with Poly
• AWS Cloud Engineer/Server Administrator/familiarity with Windows server
• Demonstrated experience setting up and managing servers in Commercial Cloud Enterprise (C2E).
• Demonstrated experience with AWS Services.
• Demonstrated experience with Cloud technologies.
• Demonstrated experience with diagnosing problems with systems deployed to AWS.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating with components throughout the Sponsor to ensure proper interpretation, integration, deployment, or operational support.
• Demonstrated experience with server technologies, MVS (multiple virtual storage), Linux, UNIX, and Windows technology and operating systems.
• Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) and supported utility and security applications.
• Demonstrated experience working in a multi-system and multi-application environment with multiple specialties such as operating systems, e-mail, database platforms, storage technologies, and hardware support.
• Demonstrated experience working with network requirements to anticipate impact on respective operating systems.
• Demonstrated experience understanding organizational standards for operating configurations, security constraints, and procedures for managing organization software.
• Demonstrated experience problem solving, to include independent diagnoses and resolving complex technical problems.
• Demonstrated experience using analytical planning and organizational skills
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of project management techniques to plan and execute projects.
• Demonstrated experience using strong oral and written communication skills in order to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated experience working independently on routine tasks.
• Demonstrated experience working as part of a team.
• Demonstrated experience working with system developers to elicit requirements and engage in joint project planning.
• Demonstrated experience tracking requirements.
• Demonstrated experience researching the latest technological developments in the relevant operating systems to identify impact on organization operating systems and to anticipate changes.
