Job summary

CTG is seeking an AWS Cloud Developer for a Dallas, TX engagement. The role involves designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native applications on AWS, with hands-on work in serverless and containerized architectures using Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, S3, and more.

You will code in Python/Java/Node.js/.NET and implement IaC, preferably Terraform. Responsibilities include building REST APIs, integrating components, and ensuring quality via automated tests, while supporting

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of professional experience in software development or cloud development
• Hands‑on experience developing and deploying applications in AWS
• Experience with serverless, containerized, and API‑based architectures
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform
• Experience with GitLab source control and workflows

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS
• Develop serverless and containerized solutions using AWS services
• Build and integrate REST APIs and cloud-based components
• Develop and maintain code using Python, Java, Node.js/TypeScript, and/or .NET
• Implement automated unit testing and improve reliability
• Develop infrastructure using IaC, preferably Terraform
• Support AWS provisioning and configuration using CloudFormation and/or AWS CDK
• Use GitLab for source control, branching, MR approvals, and tagging
• Troubleshoot issues and support ongoing improvements of AWS solutions
