Candidates should have at least eight years of experience in data engineering, cloud development, software development, or a related field. Strong hands-on skills in Databricks, Apache Spark, Python, and Power BI are required, along with practical experience building and supporting data ingestion and transformation pipelines. Experience with AWS services, particularly Lambda, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch, and working knowledge of serverless or event-driven integrations are expected. Candidates should also have experience with MongoDB and document-oriented data, GitHub source control, data modeling, data quality, and validation. Familiarity with GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Agile delivery, automated testing, and modern data lake or lakehouse platforms is important. Develop and support scalable data pipelines and workflows using Python, Databricks, PySpark, and AWS. Build ingestion, transformation, cleansing, enrichment, aggregation, and validation processes for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. Create and maintain Databricks notebooks, jobs, and workflows, and improve performance through suitable partitioning, caching, and schema-management practices. Use Amazon S3 for data storage and staging, and AWS Lambda for serverless processing; apply appropriate logging, monitoring, error handling, and security practices. Integrate MongoDB and other sources with AWS and Databricks, addressing nested records, changing schemas, data quality, and reconciliation needs. Write modular, tested, documented Python code and resolve pipeline, processing, and integration issues. Build and maintain Power BI data models, DAX measures, reports, and dashboards; connect curated datasets, validate results, and troubleshoot reporting discrepancies. Support Tableau solutions where needed. Use GitHub for version control, pull requests, code reviews, and issue tracking. Contribute to GitHub Actions pipelines for automated testing and deployment of code and data components. Participate in Agile planning, stand-ups, demonstrations, and retrospectives, and deliver incremental, documented solutions with the team.
