Job summary
Apptad Inc. in Marysville, OH is seeking a Solutions Architect/Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and support AWS-hosted environments that enable SDV initiatives.
You will administer Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters, manage nonproduction resources, and ensure secure, scalable architectures across the software lifecycle. Responsibilities include collaboration with engineering, cybersecurity, and governance teams; creating deployment diagrams; and driving cost optimization and performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
- 3 years of experience in solution architecture, cloud engineering, software engineering, or application support.
- Experience administering AWS hosted environments and enterprise applications.
- Working knowledge of AWS services, Kubernetes, OpenShift, networking, security, and SDLC practices.
- Experience creating technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and support AWS hosted environments and applications.
- Provision, configure and maintain nonproduction AWS resources.
- Administer Kubernetes OpenShift environments and cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor environment health, troubleshoot issues and optimize for cost and performance.
- Review architectures, code and deployment designs for security, scalability and reliability.
- Create architecture diagrams and materials for Architecture Reviews.
- Collaborate with engineering, vendors, cybersecurity and governance teams to validate solution designs and obtain approvals.
- Identify technical risks, recommend architectural improvements and provide technical leadership throughout the lifecycle.
- Support SDV platform onboarding, deployment and operation.
- Promote DevOps, CI/CD and cloud-native practices.
