Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking an AWS Azure Cloud Network Security Consultant to join our Infrastructure team in the US. You will collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve incidents, design scalable security architectures, and manage deployments across on-prem and cloud environments.

The role emphasizes FortiGate firewall management, cloud-based security solutions, and collaboration with onsite/offshore teams to ensure secure, reliable IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring, managing FortiGate firewalls including L1/L2 support, IPS/IDS, VPN and proxy settings.
• Experience implementing and managing cloud-based security solutions such as AWS/Azure WAF.
• Experience documenting network configurations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to resolve incidents, perform root-cause analyses, document findings with preventive recommendations.
• Evaluate client IT infrastructure and prepare actionable assessment reports.
• Design scalable, cost-effective IT infrastructure solutions and document deployment components.
• Coordinate release schedules, deployments, and post-deployment testing.
• Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, and continuity plans to ensure uninterrupted operations.

In the assigned Job Role of Infrastructure Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and document findings with preventive recommendations
• Participate in evaluation of client IT infrastructure, prepare actionable assessment reports, and support due diligence to document infrastructure maturity and improvement opportunities
• Contribute to the design of scalable, cost-effective IT infrastructure solutions, review reusable components, and develop technical documentation for deployed systems
• Align release schedules and environment readiness, execute deployments as per protocols, perform post-deployment testing, and manage version control to track changes
• Co-ordinate maintenance schedules, emergency fixes, and technology upgrades while ensuring uninterrupted integration into existing systems and processes
• Facilitate performance data analysis across systems, coordinate insights on system behavior, and support capacity planning to optimize performance
• Conduct security checks, recovery drills, and compliance audits, implement security measures, and coordinate continuity plans to maintain adherence to standards
• Gather feedback to identify automation opportunities, analyze existing infrastructure processes, and propose enhancements for efficiency gains
• Act as liaison with onsite, offshore, and vendor teams to document project requirements, ensuring effective collaboration
• Develop a centralized repository of technical and procedural knowledge, leveraging insights from other projects to drive efficiency and retain organizational expertise

Required Skill and Experience

• Experience in configuring, managing and maintaining FortiGate firewalls, including L1, L2 firewall support, IPS/IDS rules, VPN and proxy settings.
• Experience in implementing and managing cloud-based security solutions such as AWS/Azure WAF.
• SSL interception process
• Experience in setting up and maintaining FortiGate proxies for web filtering and application access control.
• Experience monitoring network traffic and security logs for suspicious activity and potential threats.
• Experience troubleshooting network connectivity and security issues.
• Experience in documenting network configurations and procedures.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Experience with Azure cloud components such as: WAF, gateways, application services, Azure monitor, key vaults, Sentinel, Endpoints, Defender for cloud.
• Experience in managing cloud-based security solutions.
• Experience in understand basic switching and routing
• Experience in Problem Resolution and Root Cause Analysis and creating RCAs as required.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
