Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security Assurance team seeks an experienced assurance expert to lead engagement delivery for third-party certifications and regulatory examinations. You will coordinate evidence, negotiate with auditors, and align stakeholders across regions to strengthen security controls.

The role requires 4+ years in compliance or IT security, a Bachelor's degree, and security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of compliance program management, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• CISSP, CISA, CISM or other security certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead assurance engagements across third-party certifications (SOC, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, C5, IRAP) and regulatory examinations.
• Coordinate evidence delivery, auditor negotiations, and stakeholder communications.
• Develop reusable artifacts and drive scalable assurance processes.
• Analyze regulatory impacts and craft cross-functional remediation strategies.
• Present safety and compliance positions to regulators, customers, and leadership.

As part of the team, you will manage targeted campaigns to solve complex compliance challenges, improve processes, and drive greater efficiencies across the security assurance organization. This role facilitates our ability to grow and scale our internal compliance processes to meet the compliance and regulatory expectations in markets and industries around the globe. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
