We are currently seeking an AWS Architect - US Remote w/Travel to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Additionally, we are looking for a Digital Engineering Lead Engineer to join our US team. This position is remote with approximately once a month travel to our client’s headquarters in Dallas, TX.

• Collaborate on the development and testing of DevOps solutions for automation, infrastructure, and configuration management.
• Guide design and architecture discussions.
• Mentor other engineers on the project team.
• Follow good development practices including automated testing, code reviews, and effective documentation.
• Lead conversations and guide customers in realizing business value.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in AWS architecture.
• 3+ years experience in DevOps and Automation.
• 10+ years total IT experience.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in transition, migration, security, and cost optimization in AWS.
• Project planning with other developers.
• Understanding application structures and infrastructure planning.
• Creating cloud products (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Designing and developing in AWS environments.
• Implementing microservices architecture.
• Migrating large databases to cloud platforms.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and TeleForm.
• Creating AWS CloudFormation templates.
• Providing cloud design recommendations aligned with business goals.
• Designing and developing complex cloud solutions.
• Utilizing software engineering concepts and processes.
• Solving support problems and recommending development standards.
• Researching emerging technologies.
• Implementing disaster recovery and automation of deployment processes.
• Bug detection and fixing, product feature creation.
• Identifying optimal cloud tech stacks and bringing products to market.
• Engaging in continuous learning of DevOps and AWS updates.
• Strong coding and scripting skills (Python, Groovy, Shell, Java).
• In-depth AWS experience, including IaC and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
• Container orchestration with ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm.
• Configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet).
• Full-stack design and problem-solving skills across infrastructure, networking, and databases.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• AWS Professional Certifications.
