Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking an AWS Cloud & AI Platform Engineer II to lead the design and implementation of enterprise AI enablement platforms in Cincinnati, onsite. You will work with Bedrock, SageMaker, and other AWS services, building scalable environments and automated pipelines.

Ideal candidates bring 9+ years in cloud/platform engineering, with strong Python, IaC, and DevOps skills, plus experience with AI/ML and GenAI tooling within secure environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Enable, architect, and support secure, governed, and scalable AI/GenAI platform capabilities to accelerate enterprise AI adoption.
• Design, implement, and maintain AI enablement environments, services, frameworks, and reusable architectural patterns.
• Architect, provision, and maintain AWS cloud-based AI platform infrastructure and shared services using IaC and automation pipelines.
• Enable and support AWS AI/ML and cloud-native services such as Bedrock, SageMaker, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Collaborate with agile squads, platform engineering teams, and product stakeholders to deliver enabling capabilities.
