We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive (Solutions Consultant) to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in expanding our SMB client base and driving revenue growth by promoting our AWS-focused consulting services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS technologies, a “hunter” mentality, proven sales track record, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers
- Network, develop, and nurture relationships with AWS representatives to generate inbound leads
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted strategies to generate leads and drive sales
- Attend regional events and conferences
- Client Engagement
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' business objectives and challenges
- Present tailored AWS solutions to clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our consultancy services
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships
- Possess in-depth knowledge of various AWS funding programs and incentives available for clients to help clients maximize benefits and make informed purchasing decisions
- Sales Cycle Management
- Lead the entire sales process, from prospecting and qualifying leads to contract negotiation and closing deals
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure accurate scoping and alignment of proposed solutions with client requirements
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports
- Market Intelligence
- Stay informed about industry trends, AWS product updates, and competitor activities to position Protagona as a thought leader in the cloud and data consultancy space
Qualifications
- Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in professional services, software development, cloud computing, and/or consulting
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services and solutions (AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
