Help turn complex engineering and construction plans into coordinated, executable project delivery. In this role, you’ll connect engineering and construction teams, identify challenges early, and develop practical solutions that keep projects aligned with quality, schedule, and project requirements.

Overview

We’re seeking an AWP Construction Engineer III to lead construction planning and coordination across multiple projects of varying size and complexity. You’ll establish the Construction Planning Program, align planning scope with construction leadership, and coordinate implementation contractors to support successful project deliverables.

This is a 12+ month opportunity with a schedule of Monday through Saturday, six days per week, and approximately 50–60 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead construction planning and coordinate construction input with Construction management.
• Establish the Construction Planning Program and align its scope with the Construction Advisor and Construction Support Manager.
• Manage assigned projects and coordinate implementation contractors.
• Support completion of project deliverables for RFI while meeting quality, schedule, and project requirements.
• Identify issues, problems, and opportunities; make timely decisions and develop appropriate, innovative solutions.
• Interface effectively between engineering and construction by communicating technical issues and providing information needed to solve problems.
• Work across multiple projects with different sizes and levels of complexity.
• Collaborate within small and large multidisciplinary teams.
• Share and transfer knowledge with team members and stakeholders.
• Request assistance when needed to resolve challenges effectively.

Must-Have

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering.
• Previous experience in a closely related position and/or relevant project experience.
• Strong coordination and interface capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate information and ideas to individuals and groups and make presentations when required.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP).
• Demonstrated experience interfacing between engineering and construction, identifying issues, and proposing solutions.

Compensation

• Target compensation: $76.00 per hour
• Higher compensation may be considered based on aligned experience.
