Qualifications

• 5+ years related work experience in risk management, auditing, or compliance.
• Understanding of Consumer banking processes in a risk management context.
• CFA, FRM or equivalent certifications preferred.
• 3-5 years banking experience in operational risk, compliance, internal audit or governance.
• Experience with risk assessment frameworks and control assessments.
• Experience with data analytics and dashboards (e.g., Tableau) as part of risk reporting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate control issues to ensure conformance to Consumer and Firm requirements.
• Analyze root-cause and remediation actions.
• Drive resolution of issues in conformance to requirements.
• Ensure data quality of issue documentation.
• Aggregate issues to identify themes and control enhancements.
• Develop and report on Key Risk Indicators / Key Control Indicators.
• Engage with audit and risk partners to monitor findings.
• Assess vendor risks and monitor closure.
• Perform reviews of operational risk events and identify themes.
• Monitor events for timely and accurate reporting.
• Advise and inform businesses on risk mitigation actions.
• Lead senior management presentations on risk metrics and analysis.
• Coordinate governance routines with executive stakeholders.
• Share risk best practices across teams.
