Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial services with operational risk exposure or audit.
• Exposure to wealth management or financial services risk a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in risk analysis and management; understanding regulations preferred.
• Analytical and research skills with ability to execute projects end-to-end.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
• Experience building reports and presentations with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support issue identification, analysis, remediation and monitoring & reporting.
• Collaborate with issue owners, aggregate issues across the business, and facilitate executive reporting.
• Analyze potential business risks, process deficiencies, and gaps in risk management standards.
• Support developing process and controls environment across asset management, wealth management and consumer businesses.
• Document existing controls and identify control gaps through process deep dives.
• Partner with business units to remediate issues and assist with corrective actions.
• Develop executive reporting and data-driven deliverables with precise context and structure.
• Gather and synthesize data to perform root cause analysis and identify thematic trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational inconsistencies and improve controls testing.
• Become a subject matter expert in the operational risk management framework.
