Job summary

Thompson Hine LLP is seeking a Rankings, Awards & Media Relations Coordinator to support the Marketing & Strategy department across offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Minneapolis, or Washington, D.C. This role drives submissions, rankings strategy and external communications to elevate the firm’s visibility.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, with excellent writing, research, and project management skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Strong communication, project management and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Experience in a large law firm or professional services is preferred.
• Familiarity with legal directories and awards (e.g., Chambers, The Legal 500, The American Lawyer, Law360) is a plus.
• 3-5 years of marketing/communications experience in a law firm or similar environment.
• Excellent writing and editing with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategy and execution for awards, surveys and directory submissions.
• Own the Directories & Rankings calendar, deadlines and submission status.
• Research and evaluate new award opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Design, write and edit submissions with internal teams and external consultants.
• Build relationships with directory editors and researchers.
