Job summary

Automotive News in Detroit seeks a Senior Program Manager to own the strategy, growth and execution of global awards programs and private executive gatherings. You will manage programs from planning to reporting, collaborating with editorial, sales, marketing, events and leadership to scale impact and revenue.

This senior individual-contributor role requires hands-on execution, platform administration, and the ability to build engagement infrastructure that sits at the core of Automotive News’

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in program management, awards or recognition programs, association programming, high-end events or executive engagement.
• Exceptional organization and project management skills.
• Executive presence for correspondence with C-level executives, sponsors and judges.
• Experience administering program platforms and managing structured participant data.
• Commercial instincts with sponsorship fulfillment and revenue tracking.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, growth and execution of Automotive News’ global awards programs and executive gatherings.
• Develop annual program roadmaps including schedules, growth priorities and revenue opportunities.
• Lead the complete lifecycle of each program from planning through entries, judging, recognition and reporting.
• Manage timelines and workflows across editorial, sales, marketing, events and research teams.
• Administer award entry and judging platforms, including categories, deadlines and data integrity.
• Develop and safeguard independent judging processes in partnership with editorial.
