Job summary

BBC Studios in New York seeks a Manager, Awards, Events & Industry Relations to lead campaigns, festivals, screenings, and gifting across BritBox and BBC Select. Reporting to the Director of Publicity, you will own day-to-day awards and industry activities.

You will coordinate calendars, manage budgets, vendors, and partner with publicity, production, and legal teams. The role requires highly organized, proactive collaboration across cross-functional teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience managing awards campaigns, events, festivals, or publicity initiatives within entertainment, media, streaming, or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of North American awards, events, and festival landscape.
• Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage awards campaigns across BritBox and BBC Select titles, including submissions and timelines.
• Plan and execute screenings, premieres, receptions, and industry-facing events.
• Coordinate event materials, invitations, RSVPs, and on-site execution.
• Manage gifting initiatives and maintain gifting calendars and databases.
• Build and maintain industry calendars and databases to support relationships.
