Job summary

Sony Pictures Entertainment is seeking an Associate Manager of Awards in Culver City to shape and execute awards campaigns for our TV Studio slate, coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

You will manage submission processes, timelines, and assets, while supporting on-site at ceremonies and assisting with budget and PR efforts. This role requires 4+ years in entertainment awards and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in entertainment awards at a studio, network, or agency in a marketing and/or PR capacity.
• Knowledge and passion for domestic and international entertainment awards, including Primetime Emmys, Golden Globes, SAG, BAFTAs, Daytime Emmys, NAACP Image Awards, and more.
• Ability to work under deadline with a positive attitude and collaborative spirit.
• Flexibility with work schedule, including some nights and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and meticulous organization, especially with tracking, inputting, and updating data.

Responsibilities

• Oversee submission process for all domestic and international awards competitions across SPT’s series slate, update submission calendar, maintain grids, and create assets as needed.
• Collaborate with awards contacts at partner platforms to obtain submission and campaign information.
• Liaise with awards organizations for deadlines, requirements, and ceremony details.
• Update and maintain SPT’s historical awards nomination and win databases.
• Create and distribute regular press recap updates to internal stakeholders.
• Organize tickets/table purchases and travel to ceremonies.
• Maintain SPT screener site information and creative assets.
• Develop and execute show-specific awards strategy with talent and producers.
• Provide on-site support at FYC events and ceremonies, including handling DCPs and talent check-in.
• Assist with budget management and vendor onboarding; support Talent Relations and PR efforts.
