Honda of Serramonte is a fast-growing automotive dealership seeking a Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Responsibilities include receiving repair orders, diagnosing issues, communicating with parts, and road-testing when needed.

Qualifications

• Required: Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid license.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders and assign to stall area.
• Perform repairs per repair order with accuracy and according to standards.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Save and tag parts when under warranty or requested by customer.
• Inspect vehicle for additional safety or service needs.
• Notify service advisor if additional work is not needed or cannot be completed as promised.
• Document work performed.
• Road-test vehicles when required and refer to test technician as needed.
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes.
• Keep shop area neat and track dealership tools.
• Follow all safety policies and report accidents.
