Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
  • Experience with developmental disabilities and/or brain injury preferred.
  • Must have CPR, First Aid certification within 2 weeks; MAP certification within 150 days.

Job description

Schedule: Sun - Wed, 11:30pm - 9:30am

Salary: $20.00 / hour

As an Awake Overnight Counselor, you will provide direct support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in small group residential settings or individual living arrangements. Your role includes working with the individuals served, their families, friends, employers, and support staff to enhance their independence skills and quality of life.

Your duties include administering medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP), implementing treatment plans, assisting with activities of daily living, and performing nightly cleaning and filing.

Qualifications
