This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $3000! Do you want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of troubled youth and their families? The Wediko School, based in Hillsborough, NH, provides residential treatment and therapeutic boarding school services for boys facing social-emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges. Family involvement is key to our students' success.

As a key team member, you will create transformational treatment experiences under the supervision of Masters-level clinicians, making a real difference in the lives of youth.

How You Will Be Making A Difference
  • Behavioral management of students according to their ITPs using behavioral tools.
  • Providing individual supervision for children.
  • Developing and implementing recreational activities on and off campus.
  • Facilitating daily group therapy sessions.
  • Providing therapeutic experiences aligned with each child's ITP.
  • Managing crises and reporting critical incidents.
  • Ensuring physical and psychological safety of children.
  • Balancing limits, directions, and nurturing appropriately.
  • Overseeing daily care and basic needs of students.
  • Communicating with staff and clinicians about student and setting issues.
  • Transporting students as needed and assisting with medication administration after training.
  • Completing documentation such as logs, behavior tracking, incident reports, and progress summaries.
  • Participating in campus maintenance and on-call weekends.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience working with youth or seven years of parenting.
  • High school diploma.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Completion of CPI and Medication Administration Training.
  • Valid driving record for transporting students.
