Job summary

Advocates seeks an Awake Overnight Direct Support Staff member in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. In this role, you will ensure the health and safety of individuals overnight and assist with morning activities. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma/GED, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and will preferably have experience in a similar environment. Qualifications

• Experience working with the population preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and have an operational and insured vehicle.
• Willingness to use vehicle to transport clients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health and safety of individuals during the night.
• Assist individuals with morning activities as needed.
• Provide a safe living environment in compliance with agency policies.
• Train individuals in responding to nighttime fire drills.
• Prepare summaries of interaction and clinical notes at the end of the shift.
