Job summary

Riverside Community Care in Dedham, MA is seeking a Relief Awake Overnight Counselor for Group Living Environment to support adults in recovery. You will provide compassionate mental health counseling in a group home setting, promoting independence and life skills while working evenings and weekends.

Join ACCS program team to empower residents with personalized care, collaborate with a dedicated staff, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• High School diploma and one year related experience required.
• Experience with recovery models, dual diagnosis, and/or addictions a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with residents to reach personal goals by offering guidance, education, and daily living support.
• Help individuals strengthen physical and emotional wellness while developing life skills.
• Encourage self-advocacy, connection, and community involvement through supportive coaching.

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Schedule: Flexible awake overnight relief shifts available!

Location: Shifts available in Dedham, Walpole, Norwood, and Newton

Required Skills

• Must have a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in the English language) required
• Ability to work evening and weekend hours required. Must have valid driver's license and available, dependable transportation and be willing to provide transportation to persons served in personal vehicle, as needed

Required Experience
