The Settlement Home for Children is seeking a Full-Time Awake Night Staff to supervise residents, maintain safety, and support overnight routines. You will monitor youth, enforce cottage rules, document incidents, and respond to nighttime needs while staying within safety protocols. This 40-hour weekly night shift includes Thursday through Sunday nights, with a post-shift wrap at 9 a.m.

Qualificações

• Culture of Communication
• Knowledge of Licensing, Contract, and Program standards
• Physical ability to complete Emergency Behavioral Intervention training
• Ability to use organization’s computer systems
• Ability to implement trauma-informed therapeutic approaches including TBRI®
• Willingness to perform restraints with residents once trained

Responsabilidades

• Supervise conduct of youth, ensure adherence to schedule and rules
• Maintain cottage/individual cleanliness
• Document cottage life, incidents, daily behavior, medical needs, treatment observations
• Know whereabouts of each resident at all times
• May require use of physical restraints following training and safety protocols

Formação académica

High school diploma or GED

Some college in human services/behavioral sciences

CPR/First Aid certification

Pre-employment drug and TB test

Criminal background check per Texas DFPS

Valid driver’s license with clean record
