This position involves wastewater treatment plant operations and maintenance tasks, including process control, system monitoring, chemical management, water testing, and equipment maintenance and repair.
Must obtain appropriate TCEQ licenses within specified timeframes, including Class D or C Water/Wastewater Operator licenses, with possible requirements for a Texas Commercial Driver’s License and certifications in Respiratory Protection and Confined Space Entry.
Positions are based at Remote Facilities, with responsibilities including operations (monitoring, chemical management, testing) and maintenance (mechanical repairs, equipment rebuilds). The role offers benefits, career progression, and a retention bonus potential of up to $3,000.
Primarily Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, with potential for shift rotation, weekends, holidays, and emergency work. Locations include 7113 FM 969, Austin, TX.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights up to 200 feet, in confined spaces up to 100 feet deep, and in hazardous environments. Must pass a physical exam, meet respiratory and confined space entry requirements, and have a valid Texas Class C Driver License.
