Amazon Freight Partner in Carlisle, PA is seeking a CDL A driver for a 4 days on / 4 days off schedule. The role involves hauling Amazon loads, primarily drop-and-hook, with sleeper cabs and modern equipment.

Expect 40–53 hours per week and consistent routes with no loading/unloading. You will be employed by a local transportation company partnering with Amazon, earning hourly pay with benefits such as safety bonuses, paid orientation, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid Class A CDL.
• Out 5 days. Home 2 days.
• Must pass DOT physical.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the public.

Compensation: $25 -$27 per hour

Weekly Schedule: Consistent, predictable and flexible scheduling with opportunities to pick up additional loads.

Requirements What you’ll do:

• Haul Amazon loads (primarily drop and hook loads) using state-of-the-art Amazon-branded equipment and technology, including sleeper cabs, less than 3 years old.
• Full-time is typically 40-53 hours per week
• Play an important and respected role in keeping Amazon’s commitment to exceed customer expectations and deliver packages on time and at the right place

What you’ll need:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
• Out 5 days. Home 2 days
• Must successfully pass DOT physical
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
• No current CDL suspension or revocation
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

Must be able to use handheld technology and smart phone applications such as GPS/Navigation/Electronic Log Devices
