Job summary

Amazon.com Inc. is seeking a CDL A driver for a 4-on/4-off schedule based in Carlisle, PA. This role offers no-touch freight, 40–53 hours per week, and drop-and-hook loads on a dedicated Amazon Freight partner fleet.

You will operate modern equipment, earn $25–$27 per hour with a safety bonus, and receive paid orientation and vacation while contributing to timely, accurate package deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Out 5 days. Home 2 days.
• Pass DOT physical.
• Speak/read/write English.
• No CDL suspension or revocation.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Haul Amazon loads, primarily drop and hook loads, using Amazon-branded equipment.

Compensation: $25 -$27 per hour

Weekly Schedule: Consistent, predictable and flexible scheduling with opportunities to pick up additional loads.

Requirements What you’ll do:

• Haul Amazon loads (primarily drop and hook loads) using state-of-the-art Amazon-branded equipment and technology, including sleeper cabs, less than 3 years old.
• Full-time is typically 40-53 hours per week
• Play an important and respected role in keeping Amazon’s commitment to exceed customer expectations and deliver packages on time and at the right place

What you’ll need:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
• Out 5 days. Home 2 days
• Must successfully pass DOT physical
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
• No current CDL suspension or revocation
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

Must be able to use handheld technology and smart phone applications such as GPS/Navigation/Electronic Log Devices
