Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with catastrophe models across multiple insurance segments.
• Strong data management: interpret and extrapolate complex data.
• Proficiency with Python, R, and SQL.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for brokers and clients.
• Ability to translate analyses into actionable insights.
• Curious, proactive, and able to lead initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage catastrophe modeling projects from start to finish.
• Support reinsurance discussions on strategy, underwriting, pricing, and portfolio management.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, clients, and reinsurers.
• Respond promptly to client questions.
• Develop regional/peril-specific catastrophe risk management expertise.
• Lead internal initiatives to completion.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
