A leading insurance provider is seeking a professional to provide strategic direction for its construction business unit in Boston. This role focuses on ensuring growth and profitability through tailored risk-management solutions for contracting customers. Responsibilities include managing portfolios, building broker relationships, and leading a team. Candidates should have over 5 years of relevant experience, including loss sensitive underwriting and portfolio management. The purpose of this role is to provide strategic direction for our construction business unit, ensuring growth and profitability. This role will focus on the application of complex, loss-sensitive program structures and tailored risk-management solutions for our contracting customers. Additionally, the role is responsible for building and maintaining broker relationships, applying technical expertise, contributing to business results, and staying informed about industry standards and new product introductions.
The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate's professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE's annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
