Core Specialty's Financial Lines team is seeking an AVP for a remote role. The individual will operate within established risk guidelines to market, analyze, review, evaluate, and monitor new and renewal Financial Institution accounts. The role requires applying sound judgment in processing and managing these accounts and underwriting activities.
This Underwriter will work within set guidelines to market, analyze, review, evaluate, and monitor accounts, as well as process accounts and handle underwriting activities.
The responsibilities include underwriting Financial Institution products such as Management Liability (D&O), Advisor/Fund Professional Liability (E&O), Employee Practices Liability (EPLI), and Fiduciary liability for both public and private entities within delegated authority.
The role involves maintaining existing business and strategically prospecting new opportunities within an assigned national region. Managing a book of business concerning new lines and renewals is also key.
Building and maintaining broker networks to support profitable business origination through the national wholesale broker market is essential.
The candidate should understand current issues affecting the Financial Institutions marketplace and meet all team service objectives, including quote turnaround, policy issuance, phone management, file maintenance, and documentation.
They should be excited about new business opportunities and capable of thinking creatively to formulate client and broker solutions. Developing wholesale producer relationships and enhancing Core Specialty’s footprint in the Financial Institutions market are also important.
Participation in regional marketing events supports the Core Specialty brand. Compliance with regulatory requirements is mandatory.
