Job summary

LPL Financial Holdings Inc. is seeking an AVP Tech Lead to guide a cloud-enabled development team responsible for the advisor workstation experience. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable AWS-based web applications and services aligned with enterprise standards.

Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, QA, and governance to deliver modern solutions, participate in code reviews, drive modernization, and ensure reliable, scalable delivery across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience with Angular or a similar UI framework.
• 7+ years of experience with .NET development.
• 7+ years of experience with SQL Server.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS services, including CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, Fargate/EKS, and Aurora.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and hands-on development for AWS-based applications and services.
• Guide teams in cloud-native architectures, web apps, and SOA solutions.
• Mentor developers in adopting new technologies and practices.
• Analyze existing apps to identify modernization opportunities.
• Assess risks and propose resolution strategies for delivery.
• Create and maintain technical documentation per SDLC standards.
• Communicate designs and plans to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade services and components.
• Participate in code reviews and present designs to peers and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot production issues with advanced debugging.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve scalability and reliability.
• Contribute to ROM-level solution estimation.
• Maintain platform documentation aligned with governance.
