Job summary

Curriculum Associates is seeking an Associate Vice President for State Markets Operations and Strategy to lead centralized state‑level data, policy, and engagement efforts across GR and cross‑functional teams.

You will shape state market strategy, guide product roadmaps, manage cross‑functional projects, and advise senior leadership on regulatory and legislative responses while coordinating with partners and educators nationwide.

Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years of cross‑functional edtech/digital program management.
• Familiarity with state education policy and national trends in K‑12 education.
• Experience with cross‑functional leadership across GR, State Strategy, Marketing, Sales, Adoptions/Bids/Proposals, and Product teams.
• Proficient with Smartsheet, Sharepoint, Salesforce, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and expansion of state dashboard tools for data collection and reporting across all 50 states.
• Identify and analyze evolving state data trends and advise on strategic adjustments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to collect, display, and utilize state‑level data in Curriculum Associates tools and processes.
• Produce and deliver tailored resources, recurring reports, and interactive dashboards to internal stakeholders.
• Foster a high‑performance culture and drive continuous improvement across state strategies.
• Lead retrospectives and process evaluations to optimize team productivity and execution.
• Manage dependencies and risks across state strategies and coordinate across teams.
• Advise the VP on government relations and lead special projects as needed.
• Synthesize information across portfolios to identify threats and opportunities and develop policy and business cases.
