Job summary

State Street Corporation seeks a Sanctions Analyst AVP to lead design, validation, and governance of sanctions screening models. You will partner with FCC Technology, IT, and Model Risk Governance to ensure robust performance and regulatory alignment.

Apply AI/ML, NLP, and entity resolution within data pipelines; develop repeatable Python/SQL tools and document governance across the MRM lifecycle for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing, reviewing, validating sanctions screening apps and models.
• Strong quantitative skills with model risk management understanding.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead sanctions model design, upgrade, and validation across platforms.
• Perform tuning, monitoring, and validation with false positives/negatives analysis.
• Draft governance documentation and present results to senior stakeholders.
• Apply AI/ML techniques and NLP to improve alert generation and risk scoring.
