Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, or related quantitative field.
• 6+ years of experience in financial crime compliance, sanctions screening, data science, or model risk management.
• Experience designing, reviewing, validating, or operating sanctions screening applications and models.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with hands-on proficiency in ML/NLP/entity resolution.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and automation.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key liaison between FCC and IT for day-to-day ownership of sanctions screening models.
• Monitor model performance, thresholds, and tuning; collaborate with tech on remediation.
• Lead upgrades, recalibrations, and MRM calendar activities.
• Conduct design reviews of models and data pipelines.
• Develop tools in Python/SQL to support tuning and monitoring.
