AVP, Relationship Manager

General Summary:

Participates in the promotion and business development of the Bank's membership and member services activity. Assists in the processing of membership applications, the administration of director elections, and the production of department related reports and special assignments.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducts marketing visits with assigned accounts to promote expanded use of all member services. Recruits eligible non-member institutions for membership and conducts orientation meetings with newly approved members. Represents the Bank at trade association and other industry meetings.
• Assists and directs the work of staff in the processing of membership applications.Reviews applications for accuracy and completeness, performs financial data calculations and ratios, and performs other duties relevant to the department's membership application responsibilities.
• Assists in the coordination and administration of the director elections.Responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing correspondence with members and candidates, maintaining related data and spreadsheets, counting ballots, and preparing election results reports and communications.
• Represents and establishes good working relationships with various trade organizations for participation in their events and conventions.
• Prepares various marketing management reports including marketing dashboards related to member activity.
• Attends and assists in the coordination of regional stockholder meetings, and member educational workshops and seminars.
• Prepares white papers regarding competitive landscape and Advance product usage.
• Represents and establishes good working relationships with various trade organizations for participation in their events and conventions.
• Performs special assignments and projects related to departmental duties and responsibilities.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Knowledge at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in business. MBA degree a plus.
• Seven years related experience in banking or the financial services industry.
• Ability to understand and analyze financial statements and possess a strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts and terminology.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with members, co-workers, regulatory agencies, and the public. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office technology software.
• Demonstrated commitment to working with a variety of backgrounds and perspectives. Foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere by encouraging open communication, valuing different perspectives, and ensuring all team members feel respected and engaged in their roles.

Working Conditions:

Flexibility in working outside normal business hours. Approximately 50-60% travel required.
