A global insurance provider in Minneapolis is seeking a Product & Portfolio Manager responsible for leading strategy and managing performance of various commercial lines. The role requires extensive experience in commercial P&C underwriting and strong data skills. A competitive salary range of $125k - $175k is provided, along with comprehensive benefits. The Product & Portfolio Manager will lead strategy and manage the performance of our core domestic commercial lines: Commercial Property, Commercial General Liability, Commercial Auto, Commercial Umbrella, and Workers Compensation. They will serve as the leader of one or more assigned line(s), responsible for the full spectrum of product and portfolio management. This includes driving underwriting strategy and standards, pricing strategy, reinsurance strategy, and overall line performance analysis and insights. This position will be considered the expert and trusted advisor to the broader organization for their line(s) of business, as well as a key architect of our underwriting guidelines, appetite, and risk selection criteria – ensuring they evolve with market dynamics and reflect our values of curiosity, agility, and excellence.
May perform other functions as assigned
Underwriting Expertise: Your peers and others would consider you a skilled commercial P&C underwriter with deep knowledge of one or more core lines. 5+ years of commercial P&C underwriting experience required.
Experience in industry specialization -- and specifically the technology sector – a plus.
CPCU or other industry designations a plus

Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
