AVP/Officer, Human Resources Generalist $$$

Prestigious International Financial Firm is seeking an AVP/Officer to maintain alignment of HR policies and procedures with business unit goals and objectives. Develop and implement HR programs which support corporate objectives and work to create a team environment and an operationally efficient HR unit by effectively communicating with all staff within HR and peer units.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with HR shared services
  • Oversee full-life cycle recruitment for respective business units
  • Advise management on compensation and employee relations matters
  • Manage benefit programs, payroll, and on/off-boarding
  • Conduct training, and oversee diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Process all immigration-related documents for business units
  • Coordinate management training for HR risk & legal awareness
  • Participate in drafting and maintenance of various policies and procedures within the department

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in recruitment and employee relations in Banking/Capital Markets
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor/employment law
  • Experience in a cross-cultural environment desirable
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
