Job summary

Temple University Institutional Advancement seeks an Assistant Vice President for Individual Giving and Campaign Priorities. Hybrid work is available; the role leads major gifts, aligns donor interests with university priorities, and drives campaign objectives.

A track record of closing seven-figure gifts and working across a complex organization is essential. The AVP oversees strategic fundraising activities, partners with deans and central teams, and plays a key role in a historic campaign

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required.
• At least eight (8) years of directly related experience in major and principal gift fundraising.
• Demonstrated success securing seven-figure gifts.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and execution for securing major and principal gifts to support Temple University’s highest priorities.
• Manage a portfolio of high-capacity donors and coordinate with Deans, academic leaders, and central advancement teams.
• Contribute to campaign execution, pipeline development, and a culture of philanthropy across the university.
• Travel as needed to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and engage alumni and stakeholders.
