Moody's in New York seeks an Assistant Vice President for Corporate Development, Integration Management Office to lead major acquisition integrations and divestitures, coordinating ELT-level initiatives across the enterprise.

You will own cross-functional workstreams, develop integrated plans, manage risks, and deliver concise executive reporting. The role emphasizes AI-enabled tools to enhance project delivery and decision-making.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional experience in consulting, corporate development, integration or separation management, project management, or business transformation
• Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional projects or workstreams with limited oversight and highlighting project early warning signals
• Strong critical thinking, structured problem-solving, and decision-making skills, including the ability to balance competing stakeholder priorities
• Confident and credible communicator who can influence stakeholders, facilitate decisions, and maintain accountability across teams
• Ability to synthesize complex issues into concise recommendations and executive-ready materials
• High degree of initiative, adaptability, and ownership in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
• Proven ability to use advanced Excel functions to analyze and synthesize complex data and PowerPoint to create clear, executive-ready presentations for senior stakeholders and proficiency with project management tools
• Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands‑on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use

Responsibilities

• Lead substantial portions of acquisition integrations and divestitures from planning and sequencing through implementation, stabilization, and close-out
• Support high-priority, ELT-level strategic projects, including One Moody's initiatives and other enterprise priorities, through research and analysis, cross-team planning, stakeholder alignment, and execution
• Own multiple cross-functional workstreams and high-value milestones, including application and vendor rationalization, employee onboarding and change management, synergy or cost tracking, and separation readiness
• Develop integrated project plans, establish governance and decision forums, and align business and functional leaders on scope, priorities, dependencies, and accountabilities
• Act as a primary day-to-day partner to workstream leads, challenging assumptions, resolving cross-functional issues, highlighting early warning signals, and driving timely decisions that support transaction objectives
• Anticipate and manage risks, interdependencies, and resource constraints; develop mitigation plans and elevate material decisions with clear recommendations
• Synthesize complex project information into concise executive reporting, decision materials, and presentations for senior leadership
• Advance IMO capabilities by improving playbooks, governance models, dashboards, and repeatable approaches based on transaction experience and lessons learned while championing AI-enabled tools and automation to enhance project delivery, decision-making, process efficiency, and best practices
