Job summary

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. in the United States is seeking an AVP, Corporate Development to lead the M&A agenda, supervise a team of corporate development professionals, and partner with Sr. Executives to execute strategic investments and integrations.

The role requires deep deal experience, advanced financial modeling, and exceptional communication skills to drive consensus and deliver results across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor and MBA required; CFA preferred.
  • 10–15 years deal experience in Corporate Development or related fields.
  • Cruise or travel industry experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong financial modeling and P&L forecasting expertise.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the M&A and divestiture agenda and related activities.
  • Identify and foster potential acquisition and investment opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry participants and targets.
  • Lead analysis and vetting of targets for strategic and financial impact for the C-Suite.
  • Coordinate due diligence with target teams, outside advisors, and internal experts.
  • Lead executive reporting and communications to senior management.
  • Oversee integration management or separation planning and execution.
  • Support deal structuring and negotiations; day 1 readiness and changes.
  • Drive value creation through fleet management and asset opportunities.
