Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin seeks an accomplished financial and operational leader to serve as Associate Vice President for Finance and Resource Management within Operational Services and Strategies. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive financial or operational leadership in a large organization.
  • Proven ability to plan, budget, and manage finances at scale.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory skills, and ability to build a new team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive financial and administrative oversight for OSS.
  • Oversee strategic and operational stewardship of the University’s real estate assets.
  • Establish and lead a new project management function for cross‑campus initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the SVP/CFO and University Business Services to deliver high‑quality support.
