Job description

The primary role of this position is to be the Finance Business Partner for the Medicare Product. The role is responsible for providing financial leadership and support in all financial matters, including monthly reporting, analytics, bid support, budgeting & forecasting, and planning. The focus of this position is both scorekeeping and forward-looking. Reports to VP, Finance.

Duties & Responsibilities :
  1. Partner with Medicare Team members and others in the organization to develop sound financial plans and monitor/achieve/exceed those plans.
  2. Provide leadership within various constituents of Finance supporting Medicare products in various forms and functions as a member of the Finance Leadership Team.
  3. Act as a key member of the Medicare Management Team, with a dotted line reporting to SVP of Medicare.
  4. Create models and analytics to support business case development and tracking for improvements in Medicare.
  5. Maintain and enhance financial planning tools and reports to analyze budget-to-actual results.
  6. Work closely with Finance and Medicare teams to understand monthly financial results and their implications.
  7. Partner with Medicare leaders and Total Rewards on sales plan development and oversight.
  8. Develop and implement effective approaches for annual operating plans and quarterly forecasts with the Finance Team.
  9. Collaborate with actuarial and product management teams to support the annual bid process.
  10. Support Medicare provider reimbursement modernization efforts with DSE.
  11. Assist Medicare team with QBR, Finance Committee, and Board updates.
Minimum Qualifications :
  1. Undergraduate Degree in business or finance preferred.
  2. Strong understanding of Medicare product and market dynamics.
  3. Knowledge of CMS rules and policies impacting Medicare.
  4. Deep expertise in financial analysis of managed care products.
  5. Strong planning and forecasting skills, including methods, techniques, and technology.
  6. Experience in healthcare operations management.
  7. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook at an expert level.
Preferred Qualifications :
  1. MBA or graduate degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Management, or equivalent experience.
  2. Familiarity with Workday.
Hiring Range

Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $164,700 - $252,025

All Other Locations (within approved locations): $164,700 - $252,025

Salary and compensation are contingent upon experience, education, licenses, certifications, and other relevant factors.
