Synchrony is seeking a field sales professional to lead regional and store-level conversations, driving credit product engagement and in-store execution to meet goals. You will manage relationships through timely communication, attend market meetings, and roll out regional strategies to stores from a North Carolina home office.

The role covers NC/SC with significant travel by company car; success hinges on client relationships, strong presentation skills, and ability to develop marketing plans

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years’ experience in Financial Services.
  • Minimum of 3 years of field or outside sales experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years Client Relationship Management experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ Experience developing presentations and pitching to all levels of management.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willing to travel up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Drive application volume to meet/exceed goals—measured as percentage increase to Op Plan.
  • Exceed customer satisfaction by meeting/exceeding survey targets.
  • Enhance in-store marketing programs; conduct ongoing training.
  • Develop credit awareness programs with store/market management.
  • Audit signage and POS material for compliance; report issues.

Role Summary/Purpose:

This field sales position is responsibleto sellRegional & Store level client leadership on the benefits of our products so that they will in turn drive product engagement and in store execution toaccomplish/exceed credit goals. Position would berequiredtomaintainrelationships through effective andtimelycommunication, attending market/store meetings, develop in store product execution strategies/action plans, and ensure regional strategies are effectively rolled out to stores.

This position covers a territorycomprisedof North & South Carolina
Positionbasedfroma home office in North Carolina and requires significant travel via companycar .

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Drive application volume to meet/exceed goals- measuredaspercentincrease to Op Plan.
  • Exceed customer satisfaction by meeting/exceeding established Client Satisfaction survey target goals.
  • Enhance implementation of in-store marketing programs; conduct on-going training.
  • Develop credit awareness programs with store/market management.
  • Audit signage, point of sale material for compliance purposes and communicate issues accordingly.
  • Support Client Program Manager and client team initiatives.
  • Compile and present results of on-going credit programs; manage travel and marketing budgets.
  • Attend/support store opening and relocation events.
  • Develop andmaintainkey external client relationships at store, market, and regional levels.
  • Maximize/leverage credit support and commitment at store level.
  • Develop annual marketing plan for stores to support business goals.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’sdegree ,or 5+ years’ experience working in the Financial Services Field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of field or outside sales experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years Client Relationship Management experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ Experience developing presentations and pitching to all levels of management.
  • Proficiencywith MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willing to travel up to 75% of the time
  • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required

  • Customer focused mindset withabilityto respond quickly to customer needs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills (written, oral, nonverbal).
  • Private Label Sales and Marketing experience will be a plus.

Grade/Level: 10

The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
